That's right! Now is your chance to board your horse right in the center of Lower Michigan’s largest recreation area! The Waterloo Riding Stable is located on Trist Road in Grass Lake between Clearlake Rd & Seymore Rd. The Park is 21,000 acres in size and you will find over 21 miles of equine trails.

For the first time ever, we are offering Seasonal Horse Boarding inside
the 21,000 acre Waterloo State Park from May 1st thru October 31st.
The park is lower Michigan’s largest recreation area! You can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, the beautiful scenery, and over 21 miles of equestrian trails for the beginner, intermediate and advanced rider. Your horse will love the 24/7 grazing pastures with hay huts, the fresh water supply, plenty of shade and an am, lunch, & pm feeding schedule if needed.
Some other amenities are a private tack area available, a top quality security system, a picnic area with tables & fire pit, a fully equipped kitchen, a 10 person Rustic Cabin on the premises for rent through the DNR, and included space for your horse trailer.
We have very relaxed hours of operation from early bird rides to moonlight rides. You are welcome to invite your friends and family for those great summer weekends & long holidays. We offer Overnight Horse Boarding for $20 a night - you supply your own feed, hay and water buckets. Note: This is for Overnight Boarding Only.
You will be set for a summertime of fun, ready to take advantage of everything available for a full season of horseback trail riding. Their will be no excuses - your horse and tack is already in the park ready to go! No spending money on gas or fuel for trailering - No loading & unloading your horse. Someone is always on the premises.
Just $475 a month per horse. Every horse will need a current negative Coggins and proof of up to date inoculations & worming. (the controlling of all parasites and illness is mandatory).
